Baba-Taher Tomb

Baba -Taher tomb is located in the western side of falak –ol- aflak fortress in the center of khorramabad. It is called Bo-a-Taher in Lori local language. The people of khorramabad believe that this tomb is related to Baba Taher (the famous poet and learned, versifier of famous Lori and Laki couplets). The style is simple and consists of a dome with an entrance. The main building is 8-lateral that four sides of them are 2.5m and the secondary sides are 1.70cm.The height of the tomb is 6m. The place of the grave is into the cellar which is on the cellar and of the grave mausoleum with the dimensions of 177*100*52cm. There is a woody shrine with the dimensions of 198*128*127cm which is destroyed. A small room with the dimensions of 5*2.5m is joined to the west side of the building in recent period which is called Ghalandar- Khaneh.

The building Probably belongs to the khwrezm-shahs,and has been registered as No.1922 in the list of Iranian national monuments.
